Lacrosse Rules and Tricks

Lacrosse is one of ways to do sport that is not yet as popular as for example basketball or football. This game uses a stick with a net attached to its end that is called a crosse and a goal to which the players try to toss the ball with the crosse. The advantage of this game is that it can be played both indoors and outdoors. Of course, there are some requirements that have to be filled for a place to be suitable for lacrosse. The main requirement is the surface that the game can be played on, for lacrosse the most suitable one is grass or artificial turf.

An important accessory to lacrosse players are the protective equipment as otherwise injuries are quite likely to happen. During the game there are 10 players on the field: 3 attackers, 3 midfielders, 3 defenders and goaltender. In women’s lacrosse there are two midfielders added to the game, in other senses the game is the same for men and women. Actually, there is another difference between different genders lacrosse game is that women have to wear less protective gear as in their game less contact is allowed than between the game of men.
